Responsibilities

The Cryptologic Instructor (Networks) shall analyze customer requirements, available training methods and material, and facilities to design the required curriculum for classroom instruction. The Cryptologic Instructor (Networks) shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned materials. The Cryptologic Instructor (Networks) shall manage the instructional content for the assigned topic area. The Cryptologic Instructor (Networks) shall develop, and deliver new content and make recommendations for revisions of existing topic area content that is covered by this contract. The Cryptologic Instructor (Networks) shall conduct practical exercise in a laboratory environment, conduct student study all periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction.

Qualifications

  • AssociateDegree in Computer Science or a directly related field and 2 years work experience in the specified topic area (Networks)
  • In lieu of a Associate Degree, a minimum of 4 years of applied, practical work experience, within the last 6 years, in Networks to include the specified topic areas listed above
  • Formal, documented training in a web-based or distance-learning teaching technologies, to include on line forums and multimedia presentations (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal)
  • 2 years’ experience, within the last 3 years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the specified topic area to include facilitating student participation through role playing or operational simulations
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • ***** Positions require a Top Secret Security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI) with polygraph
