  • Overview

    The Guard I will provide a safe environment for employees, and at various facilities in the Washington Metropolitan Area. 

     

    The selected candidates are responsible for patrolling buildings and grounds; while guarding against fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized access to facilities.

     

    Clearance Requirements:  TS

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct random inspections
    • Maintain and control access to customer's facilities
    • Compliant with customer's rules and regulations
    • Proficient in reporting processes and procedures
    • Maintain a high level of integrity and punctuality
    • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities;
    • Inform violators of policy and procedures
    • Monitors premises and personnel by patrolling property
    • Monitoring surveillance equipment
    • Operator and inspect access control devices; metal detector, turn stiles and x-ray equipment
    • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences

    Qualifications

    • U.S. citizenship REQUIRED
    • H.S. Diploma or GED
    • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (TS)
    • Must successfully complete Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) training within 90 days of hire
    • Ability to walk and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
    • Safety Management
    • Possess exceptional customer service skills
    • Must have 20/20 vision or corrective vision
    • Possess satisfactory oral and written communication skills
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing ( which may include criminal, credit and driving record checks)
    • Must meet client suitability
    • Must have reliable transportation (sites are not accessible via public transportation or pickup/drop-off)
