  • Overview

    The Training Specialist I will interact with students from all over the world in a traditional classroom setting and or a distant learning environment.

     

    Selected candidates are responsible for maintaining course materials, set-up/operate Video Teleconference equipment and manage data input for extensive online databases.  

     

    Clearance Requirements:  TS/SCI + Poly

    Responsibilities

    • Create and update training documentation which includes training manuals, diagrams, PowerPoints and other supporting materials
    • Develop an understanding of customer processes and standard operating procedures
    • Complete other clerical tasks as needed for the training classes
    • Manages workload, appropriately prioritizing work based on business needs
    • Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities
    • Prepare and maintain documents/files/folders
    • Record and Maintain data records in Databases
    • Prepare and maintain schedules
    • Prepare and deliver briefings
    • Initiate, track and conduct follow-up for tasking
    • Validate course requirements

    Qualifications

    • Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with Polygraph (TS/SCI + Poly)
    • U.S. citizenship REQUIRED
    • One (1) year experience participating in a synchronous learning environment (classroom/live training)
    • Two (2) years in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g. EXCEL, Word and Power Point) and have basic application trouble-shooting skills
    • Two (2) years documented experience in customer service principles (i.e. planning and scheduling, presentation and briefing techniques, problem solving strategies/methods, and record keeping
    • Two (2) years classroom use of computers and internet/intranet connectivity skills and operating general office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines)
    • Two (2) years internal and external customer relations; issue/problem resolution; presenting and promoting ideas and initiatives; process improvement; project management; data/information management, teaming, and time management.
