  • Overview

    The Proctor II will assists in administrating placement tests and course exams for internal and external personnel.


    The selected candidate(s) are responsible for preparing test material while delivering proctor tests according to customer regulations.


    Clearance Requirements:  TS/SCI + Poly


    • Administers exams and monitors students throughout the duration of the exams
    • Ensures continuous compliance with established testing policies, laws, regulations, operating procedures
    • Regularly communicates with supervisor regarding test administration, facilities, and allegations of academic dishonesty
    • Resolves incidents with assistance from Control Room Operators, Trainer on Duty, and Administrator on Duty
    • Receives and logs incoming tests from instructors
    • Document delivery (return tests to instructors)
    • Maintains tests in a secure environment
    • Troubleshoot test errors and equipment failure
    • May assist with the design of flyers, handouts and door signs
    • Work effectively with colleagues and students
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Maintain clean work areas
    • Meet all required standards of confidentiality
    • Data Entry
    • Has the ability to work with students with special accommodations
    • Must be vigilant
    • Able to administer Testing Center rules
    • Keep an inventory of testing materials
    • Capable of mentoring a new Test Proctors


    • Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with Polygraph (TS/SCI + Poly)
    • U.S. citizenship REQUIRED
    • H.S. Diploma or GED and four (4) years of professional or academic experience
    • Four (4) years in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g. Excel, Word and Power Point) and have basic application trouble-shooting skills.
    • Three (3) years documented experience in a customer service environment
    • Two (2) years of experience performing as a Test Proctor doing similar duties administering tests in a variety of formats and perform all of the duties referenced above.  In lieu of Test Proctor experience, two (2) years of experience as a Command Language Program Manager, may be substituted
    • Experience working with on-line dictionary usage for Professional Qualification Examination (PQE) formatted level-3 tests, as appropriate and experience troubleshooting the most common computer glitches associated with test taking (for example responding to a test taker’s “help” function or retrieving a test when accidentally deleted)
