LG- TEK is growing and we are looking to add a Contractor Special Security Officer to our team! The CSSO will manage SCIF security operations and ongoing facility compliance with ICD 705.

Responsibilities

Manage SCIF security operations and ongoing facility compliance with ICD 705.

  1. Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation at security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
  2. Identify, develop and provide security trainings and briefings.
  3. Administer Insider Threat Awareness Program.
  4. Provide classification management support to programs to include preparation and coordination of Program Classification Guides. Assist in the review of media and documents for classified information.
  5. Oversee visitor control program.
  6. Administer access control program.
  7. Manage classified items lifecycle to include: creation, documentation, storage, transfer and destruction in accordance with Government procedures.

Qualifications

At least five (5) years’ experience in the following areas

  1. Oversight of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
  2. Personnel security experience with JPAS/DISS
  3. Writing, implementation and administration of security processes and procedures
  4. Design and delivering security awareness trainings and compliance programs
  5. Administering classified material control programs, including transfer, transmission, reproduction, destruction and accountability
  6. Knowledge of automated information systems (AIS) is a plus
  7. Must meet eligibility requirements for obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance (TS/SCI w/ poly)
