Overview

LG-TEK is growing and there is an increased need for a Training Specialist Coordinator. The Training Specialist Coordinator  will provide support in the organization, planning and administration of training operations.  This role requires selected candidates to be responsible for the supporting the program manager LG-TEK Tasks including successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.  LG-TEK is a leading provider of services within the Intelligence Community. Clearance Requirements:  Top Secret Security Clearance with F/S Polygraph (TS/SCI + poly)

Responsibilities

Selected candidates will utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent leadership to Learning Facilitation Support contractor personnel through successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse elements of program management.
  • Enforce work standards. Review and resolve work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements with regards to the Learning Facilitation Support Services provided to the Customer.
  • Provide assistance to instructors in the administration of courses or curricula via a variety of delivery methods.
  • Provide support in the organizing, planning and administration of training operations.
  • Coordinate the use of classified and unclassified space, tools and equipment, faculty or speakers, and course materials in order to facilitate training.
  • Confer with managers, instructors, and the Government to verify training needs.
  • Schedule instructors to conduct training, based upon the availability of classrooms, equipment and personnel.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure the availability of course materials for web-based training, self-paced training, platform-based training, etc.
  • Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned project area and staff; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws, specifically ensuring staff compliance with daily and accurate time reporting policies.
  • Provide technical support to instructors and students by implementing/supporting approved technology-based applications in the classroom/training lab.
  • Assist teachers in the instructional use of software, hardware, and internet/intranet.

Requirements:

  • Experience participating in a synchronous learning environment (classroom/live training)
  • 7 years in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g. EXCEL, Word and Power Point) and have basic application trouble-shooting skills
  • 7 years documented experience in customer service principles (i.e. planning and scheduling, presentation and briefing techniques, problem solving strategies/methods, and record keeping
  • 7 years Experience in classroom use of computers and internet/intranet connectivity skills and operating general office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines)
  • 7 Experience in internal and external customer relations; issue/problem resolution; presenting and promoting ideas and initiatives; process improvement; project management; data/information management, teaming, and time management.
  • 3 years experience in conducting on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot local software applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multimedia equipment and its use in the classroom.
  • Knowledge of and skill in performing routine functions of media technology, equipment, and multimedia systems.
