Responsibilities

Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:

Technician/Mechanic will have to interact and collaborate on site with USG and other service provider personnel.  The Technician/Mechanic is responsible for:

  • All facilities
  • HVAC
  • Electrical systems
  • Grounds
  • Fencing
  • Gates
  • Above ground infrastructure

Also:

  • Support manufacturers recommended PM requirements for; all electrical and mechanical systems to include – Chiller, HVAC, UPS, transformers, lighting, etc.
  • Conduct semi-annual PM of UPS and In-row Coolers.
  • Respond during emergency conditions in a timely manner.

Must Adhere to:

  • Industry Standards (ASHRAE for HVAC, ISO 14001, NFPA, etc.)
  • Federal Standards (EPA guidelines, Clean Air Act, OSHA 300, etc.)
  • DoD Standards (DoD UFC; UFC 3-110-04, UFC 3-210-06A, UFC 3-600-02)

 

Qualifications

OCONUS On-Site Maintenance Technician:

A US professional board certified/licensed HVAC mechanic or electrician. The licensed electrician must demonstrate competency in HVAC mechanical work when required.  The licensed HVAC mechanic must demonstrate competency in electrical work.  Either type of certified technician/mechanic will be required to demonstrate a basic understanding of construction, mechanical engineering, logistics and repair of in-row coolers and larger chiller systems. 

 

OCONUS On-Site Personnel Rotation:

The rotation of personnel will take place every 120 days which includes a five-day overlap for transition and “pass-down”.  Deployment processing, to include specialized training is required prior to scheduled departure.

 

 

Must hold a current TOP SECRET/ SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph.
