LG- TEK is growing and there is an increased need for Guards-1Bs.  The Guard-1B will monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons at the Herndon location.

Responsibilities

Job Description: 

  • Conduct random inspections.
  • Maintain and control access to customer's facilities.
  • Operate access control devices; metal detector, turn stiles and x-ray equipment.
  • Comply with customer's rules and regulations.
  • Proficient with the reporting process and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, punctuality and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Must have 20/20 vision or correctable to Saieger No. 4 test for both eyes.
  • Free from colored blindness.
  • Can perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations.
  • Must have normal hearing levels or corrective hearing.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (which may include criminal, credit and driving record checks).
  • The schedule for this position requires 24 hour weekend and holiday support.
