Responsibilities

•Develop key financial models
•Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
•Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
•Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
•Monitors and confirms financial condistion by conducting internal audits and provides information to external auditors; complies with all audits and company policies
•Maximizes return and limits risk on cash by minimizing bank balances and making investments
•Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and conslidating financial data; recommends plans
•Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
•Provides assistance and recommendations wtih cost and pricing
•Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studing existing and new legislation, anticipaing future legislation, enforcing adhereance to requirements, filing financial reports, and aadvising managmen3t on needed actions
•Participate in the creation of company policies for great financial health
•Manage company cash flows
•Maintains strong understanding of fiscal policy
•Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term
•Offer advice and assistance to the CEO / CFO regarding spending and budget matters
•Oversee leaders in the finance and accounting departments, including giving directions and delivering aperiodic evaluations
